In the last 5 years, ODD proved themselves a key player in the clubbing scene of Sao Paulo by contributing to the enhancement of local artists and nights with great international guests. ODD means "different to what is usual or expected",
which is a representative name for an organisation that not only provides a place to listen to electronic music, but also stimulates people to express themself as they are and support the resistance to Brazil's restrictive policies. A monthly night where techno,
house and their deepest nuances are mixed with traditional Brazilian rhythms and immersive melodies. This avant-garde sound is what characterizes ODD and leads to a dance floor filled with unstoppable energie and emotions.
Each edition is accompanied by performances in front of/next to the DJs in order to create a 360° experience. Founded by Márcio Vermelho together with DJs and producers Davis and Pedro Zopelar, ODD is an interactive union of music, shows and activism. Participants take part in an environment where there is no place for intolerance and where all sexuality is welcome respecting gender fluidity without precise definitions.
